I don t think first floor is a good idea.
If you re the type who enjoys frequent trips to the supermarket but doesn t like the added exercise of lugging your purchases to the top floor the ground floor might be the best choice.
I realize i m in the minority but i come and go a lot so i think that has a lot to do with wanting to be on the first floor.
Since his place is located on the first floor and comes with a decent sized yard with foliage he tells me he has a problem with heavy mosquito infestation on top of that the interior of the house is extremely humid especially during summer told me he could smell mildew.
You won t be doing that every day unless you mean carrying groceries etc.
You may just not want to climb a set a stairs every time you come home.
